Food Review: The Brass Rail, Selfridges Food Hall, London

The Tastiest Salt Beef Sandwich in London?

The Brass Rail has been part of Selfridges food hall for yonks. There is a reason for that. They do great salt beef sandwiches. It’s been tweaked over the years, with pulled stuff in buns added to the menu. But the reason people go there are the salt beef sandwiches. The beef is tender, not salty, and cut thick in slices the size of… proper salt beef slices. A smear of mustard, a pickle and lunch is sorted.

The sandwiches come in three sizes. half (£6.25), regular pictured (£8.95) and large (£12.95). The portions are generous with the regular enough for a snack for two. But with something this tasty who wants to share.

Try it. It’s good. You will be happy.

TL:DR

+Great salt beef sandwich

-It’s a great sandwich, whats not to like!
