The Glad Cafe, 1006a Pollokshaws Road, Glasgow – Sep 2012

A welcome addition to the Shawlands cafe/entertainment scene is The Glad Cafe.  Part cafe/venue I’m sure this place will go from strength to strength.

Reminded me a lot of the old Third Eye Centre (when it was hip 😉 ), delicious smelling cakes and coffee tempt you down the corridor which opens up into a large cafe area with a venue off it.

The menu looked enticing, however we plumped for coffee (Glasgow’s own Dear Green Coffee) and cake, but will be back for the sharing platters.

Friendly staff, great coffee and amazing home made cake.  Well worth a visit.
