Hello!
I am Emma and with my husband Mark write Foodie Explorers, which is a food and travel website.
I am a member of the Guild of Food Writers and British Guild of Travel Writers.
We have a wide range of judging experience covering products, hotels and have judged, for example, for Great Taste Awards and Scottish Baker of the Year.
Along the way Mark gained WSET Level 2 in Wine and I have WSET Level 2 in Spirits as well as picking up an award with The Scotsman Food and Drink Awards.
Usually I can be found sleeping beside a cat.
Terrible place, I was assaulted by the landlady for refusing to buy a drink before I used her toilet. I explained to her I have IBS and was about to soil myself and also told her Scottish law obliges her to let me use her toilet yet she physically grabbed me. THIS IS A HORRIBLE PLACE, and NO ONE SHOULD DRINK HERE
GREAT WE BAR , FRIENDLY STAFF AND CUSTOMERS , MADE FEEL REALLY WELCOME , WILL BE BACK SOON FOR ANOTHER VIST
friendly really ?? oh if you dont have a medical condition?
bitter nasty woman going for the disabled card this is a good old pub with nice folk and bar staff get over yourself.
Called in here on Saturday evening. Met with a barked “Can I help You?” We asked if they were serving food and again got a sharp reply. Definately got the impression it’s a local pub for local people, so we left. I think the kind man must have been on his day off and left the Unfriendly lady in charge.
Great pub, friendly staff very welcoming,xx
This is a great pub with live music on a Sunday afternoon and really good food at great prices. as for the atmosphere try a Friday night when the Karaoke’s on for real good atmosphere.
Great little pub, very gay friendly, good prices.
