Trying out Asda Valentine’s Day Meal Deal for 2022

Everything for a cosy night in this Valentine’s Day for £15

Asda has its popular Valentine’s Day meal deal for 2022 in-store and we were gifted a deal to give it a try. The deal runs until 14th February, offering a range of high-end Extra Special products for a luxury date night at home and not just for Valentine’s Day

Not only has Asda kept the price of its stunning meal deal at £15 this year, but the supermarket has gone one step further in offering couples the ultimate date night deal with a free Sky Movies voucher when shopping the meal deal.

Included in the deal are a range of stunning Extra Special products, from succulent sirloin steaks and melt in the mouth lamb shanks to vegan and meat-free options such as Extra Special No Chicken Coq au Vin pies and Crabless Croquettes.

We tried the meal deal as our Sunday lunch.

Starting with the Extra Special French Neufchâtel Heart. Served in a heart-shaped ceramic dish and paired with a luxurious serving of mellow honey and black truffle glaze. A smooth and creamy cheese with a rich tangy flavour, get some rolls or garlic bread for dipping.

Moving onto mains and we had Extra Special 28-Day Matured British Sirloin Steak with a Pink Peppercorn, Garlic & Herb Heart Shaped Butter Melt, served alongside Extra Special Potato Dauphinoise and Extra Special Green Veg Medley.

For dessert, we tried the rich and decadent Extra Special Heart Shaped Sticky Toffee Pudding.

Served alongside was a bottle of Argentinian Malbec

For £15, this is a perfectly simple and affordable special meal. No need to spend Valentine’s Day slaving away in the kitchen. Add to that the free Sky Movies voucher and you’ve got a ready-made date night,
