Cheese flavour bubble tea – we try it!
We love to wander around supermarkets to see what grabs our attention off the shelves. Whilst in an Asian supermarket yesterday, we saw some cheese bubble tea. We like cheese and we enjoy tea, so …let’s give it a go.
Now cheese tea, it sounds wierd even to those of us who like cheese. Would it be smelly? acidic? rank? Well there is only one way to find out and that is to try the thing.
Inside the cup you will find a sachet of ‘cheese flavour’, bubble bag and a straw. There are instructions on how to enjoy the drink either hot or cold. Remember to get translate out if you want detailed instructions.
We put the kettle on and got ready to try some cheese tea.

Well, it isn’t cheese flavoured in the traditional sense in the UK, more like a salty cream cheese. Just like most milky teas, it was very sweet. There is a slight hint of that powdery cheese smell when we poured in the sachet of flavouring, this wasn’t tasted in the tea at all.
A sweet and creamy, milky bubble tea.
