Visiting the Ayrshire Beer Festival, we took the opportunity to visit the Wee Hurrie as we had read about how good it was.

After tooing and frooing about where it was we eventually found it.

Doesn’t really entice you to venture further, but go around the corner you will find it!

Opening Hours

Monkfish Goujons

Scampi

A very good plus is that the fish is made to order, which could mean a wait however fresh food 🙂

The man had the monkfish – thick, meaty chunks, chips were not “chippy” style enough – too crispy with him and more tartar sauce on the side.  Scampi for me – lovely big chunks, best scampi ever!  Again more tartar sauce, however I did like the chips 🙂

A serious contender to Anstruther fish n chips.
